      Granted, I have only 10 minutes of game play under my belt but I cant think of much to mod as far as visuals. Most visual aspects of this game are procedurally generated using color pallets so there isnt much to change as far as textures go. You can change the icons and some screen overlays but that’s about it.

      The game seems to use all sorts of sets of template / source materials to apply in that procedural generation.

      I think it should be possible to increase the amount/types of source elements that are used aswell as the amount/types of formulas used in the procedural generation, and by doing so expand greatly on the variation of what you come across in terms of planets, biomes, creatures, races, landscapes, materials and so forth.
