[Request] 3rd person ship view

I think it would be amazing to have a key to toggle between 1st and 3rd person view while flying your ship, and I was wondering if this could be possible at all with the current modding tools we have.

As much as I want to see this idea come to fruition, it’d be really tricky to implement unless we have a significant modding breakthrough or Hello Games releases a modding kit for the game… whichever comes first.
