Currently Tibet is a Chinese Autonomous Region, this is the reason why in order to enter Tibet you must first apply for a Chinese visa. In addition, Tibet has a special regulation, as shown by ambulance service and if you do not have a Chinese passport, you must obtain an entry permit that can only be obtained through an authorized travel agency that is responsible for your travel
